General Legal/Process, Building Services, Building Structural, Complex Buildings, Detection Lighting and Power, HVAC-House, House, Large Buildings, On-Site Sewage Systems, Plumbing-House, Plumbing All Buildings, Small Buildings.
Demonstrated ability to train, mentor and coach.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES
Reporting to Supervisor of Building Inspections, the Building Inspector Training Coordinator will act as a subject matter expert in the inspection of high, complex, and other Part 3 buildings regulated by the Ontario Building Code. This will include acting as a technical expert related to Ontario Building Code and other Applicable Law requirements from both internal staff and external customers, documentation of procedures, develop and deliver ongoing training and mentorship to inspection staff. The position will focus on a strong understanding of Plans Examination and Building Inspection processes related to the duties of a Building Inspector, encouraging cross-sectional, and divisional collaboration.
