Job Title: Electrical Engineer - ADNOC Projects (OHL Experience)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in Overhead Line (OHL) projects to join our team, working on ADNOC projects. The successful candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on OHL projects and ADNOC standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and Engineering: Develop and review electrical designs, calculations, and specifications for OHL projects, ensuring compliance with ADNOC’s standards and regulations.
2. Project Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute OHL projects, including planning, coordination, and supervision of electrical installations.
3. OHL Design and Installation: Design and oversee the installation of overhead lines, including tower design, conductor selection, and stringing calculations.
4. Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Troubleshoot electrical issues and develop maintenance plans to ensure optimal performance of OHL systems.
5. Compliance and Safety: Ensure electrical designs and installations meet ADNOC’s safety and regulatory requirements, and participate in HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) initiatives.
6. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and submit technical reports, designs, and other documentation as required by ADNOC and project stakeholders.
Requirements:
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
2. Experience: 2-3 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on OHL projects and ADNOC standards.
3. Certifications: Certified Electrical Engineer or related certification is an advantage.
4. Skills:
1. Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, codes, and standards (e.g., IEC, NEC, ADNOC standards).
2. Proficient in electrical design software (e.g., ETAP, EDSA, AutoCAD).
3. Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
5. Strong understanding of OHL design, installation, and maintenance principles.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. ADNOC Experience: Previous experience working directly with ADNOC or on ADNOC projects.
