As a Job Placement Consultant, you’ll help people facing health challenges find new employment opportunities and support them in returning to meaningful & sustainable work to live the best life they can! Your duties will include: Work collaboratively with injured workers, potential employers, and your internal team of allied health professionals to provide safe, sustainable opportunities for workers to re-enter the workforce; Contribute to injured workers ability to achieve return to work goals through job skills development, confidence building and promoting independence; Apply and deliver customer service in employment services and job placement; Empower clients to effectively present their skills and abilities when seeking employment; Broker new employment opportunities in the Melbourne Metropolitan area and surrounds, which in turn provide a swift re-engagement into employment for workers who have been detached from the workplace due to a workplace injury (physical and/or psychological); Build strong relationships with local employers and organisations; Complete written progress and various other reports on a regular basis. Qualifications Experience in Occupational and/ or Vocational Rehabilitation is highly desirable Previous experience in Employment Services / Disability Employment as a high performer Strong resume writing skills with an understanding of local labour market; A passion for assisting people to gain employment and enhance their careers; The ability to grow our services and build strong relationships with key customers; A current VIC Driver’s License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance is a must!
