A leading consultants office in Dubai is seeking for the following positions:

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.
  • 7-10 years of experience in civil inspection specifically in high-rise building projects.
  • Experience within the UAE.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and local regulations is essential.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills are necessary.
  • Experience with various project types, ability to read technical drawings, and familiarity with relevant inspection tools are also beneficial.
    · A background experience in an engineering consultancy in Dubai.

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering or a related field. Finishing experience is a must.
  • Proven experience as a Finishing Inspector on residential building projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Finishing materials, methods, and quality control processes.
  • Familiarity with DUBAI construction regulations and experience working on projects within the region.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy in inspection documentation.
  • A background experience in an engineering consultancy in Dubai.
Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Previous experience in civil construction works and supervision or inspection of site works.
· Record inspections, tests, work executed.
· Monitor the review of the contractor’s documents/shop drawings to flag and rectify any issues which may affect the stability or function of any components or systems.
· Preparing daily logs and reports.
· Monitoring and ensuring that all civil/structural engineering aspects of the project are carried out as per inspection plan/drawings/codes and specifications.
· Monitor safety aspects when dealing with Civil/structural installations.
· Perform and or evaluate tests confirming quality requirements, civil/structural finishes and building components by conducting thorough site inspection for all civil/structural works as per approved shop drawings, specifications and method statement.
· Field checks placement, location and quality of civil/structural finishes, building structure components.
· Perform civil/structural inspections and material inspections.
· Ensure compliance of civil/structural l works to design requirements, specifications and project plan.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inspection and Compliance: Conduct on-site inspections to ensure that Finishing activities adhere to project specifications, approved drawings, and relevant codes and standards.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and assess the quality of workmanship, materials, and Finishing methods to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate inspection records, including daily reports, photos, and any deviations from project specifications.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address and resolve any issues related to construction quality and compliance.
  • Consultancy Experience: Apply your consultancy background to provide valuable insights and recommendations for optimizing construction processes.
  • Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates on construction progress, highlighting any deviations or potential risks to project timelines.
