Our Swedish office is located on Kungsholmen. We are now searching for an Underwriter to our Swedish branch and will be based at our Stockholm office. The Role As our new Underwriter you will become part of our Nordic Underwriting department and work together with like-minded, dedicated, and skilled colleagues with various backgrounds and competences. You will also work closely with the colleagues in both Denmark and Norway. Key responsibilities include: •Drive process optimization and ensure high-quality data for underwriting and analysis. •Collaborate with product development and actuarial teams on pricing, tariff updates, and new product offerings. •Take an active role in the profitable growth of our Swedish business by managing the underwriting part of the tender process for larger accounts. •Support pricing and portfolio management through analysis, modeling, and profitability monitoring. •Work closely with actuarial teams on reserving topics, lapse modeling, and system requirements to safeguard data quality. •Engage with the market through customer visits in partnership with the sales team. The Profile We’re looking for someone who combines a sharp analytical mind with a natural ability to connect with people. You should be comfortable working with complex data, confident in making decisions, and eager to contribute to a collaborative, cross-Nordic team. If you enjoy balancing precision with big-picture thinking, you’ll thrive here. •Solid experience in underwriting or similar risk-related roles, with strong analytical skills and understanding of risk concepts, key drivers and economic interdependencies. •Ability to build and maintain broker relationships that drive business growth. •Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and confidence working with data. •Fluency in Swedish and English; additional Nordic languages or German are a plus. •Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex data for diverse audiences. •Collaborative, service-minded, and resilient—able to work independently and thrive under pressure in fast-paced environments. •Willingness to travel occasionally within the Nordics.
