We are looking for compassionate Caregivers to be a part of our team and join us in our mission of enhancing seniors’ lives, one day at a time. You work individually with clients, one-on-one, providing a variety of non-medical services that allows you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes. * Starting at $17.00 per hour based on client care experience and certification * Higher hourly rate for short shifts Responsibilities and Duties With dignity, compassion, and care, your duties include, but not limited to: * Perform activities of daily living and provide companionship for our clients in their homes * Personal hygiene including but not limited to bathing, grooming and dressing * Meal planning and preparation * Light housekeeping * Provide ambulation and transferring assistance as needed * Help with medication as required * Transportation for appointments and errands Qualifications and Skills * Must be 18 years old or older * Preferred CNA or HHA license or 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons. * Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including lifting and transferring up to 50 pounds * Must have an active CPR Certification or be willing to get certified * Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with valid insurance * Must possess excellent communication skills * Are mature, caring, punctual and reliable * Must have an active State of Florida Level 2 Background Check or pass one Benefits * Weekly regular payroll every Friday via Direct Deposit * Daily Pay*: Access to your pay the same day you work * Intervisit Mileage: Paid mileage for driving between multiple clients in a single day * Paid orientation and training providing Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) * Flexible Schedule * Liability Insurance * Worker’s Compensation * Reemployment Benefits * Paid Time-Off (PTO) Industry Leading, Nation-Wide Team At HomeWell Care Services, we pride ourselves on providing the highest quality care for seniors and others needing individualized support and companionship at home.
