Glenora Child Care Society is seeking a caring, nurturing, and dedicated Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to join our team as a Centre Support. This is a 7-month contracted position, ideal for an ECE looking to gain experience in a non-profit setting while working in a well-established and respected centre.

  • Passionate about outdoor play – yes, even winter play!
  • Skilled at creating meaningful indoor and outdoor learning environments

  • Values strong, nurturing relationships with children and families
  • Believes in collaboration and building partnerships with families
  • An advocate for children, families, and the early childhood education profession
  • A supportive teammate who enjoys mentoring and growing with others
  • Knowledgeable of licensing and health regulations
  • Flexible and available to work rotating shifts between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Early Childhood Educator Certification – preference given to Level 3
  • Ability to work with children ages 12 months to 12 years
  • Class 4 driver’s license is an asset but not required
Responsibilities

As Centre Support, you’ll work collaboratively in a team environment to provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive space for children and families. You will work with children ranging from 12 months to 12 years old, contributing to a community that values play, learning, and strong relationships.
