Borthwick Group is a company established in 2008, with a workforce of 200+ staff and a fleet of 100+ vans. We are currently seeking a team of joiners to assist in properties that are currently under development.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the construction team to assist in the execution of joinery tasks as required in properties under development.
• Carry out a wide range of joinery duties, including but not limited to fitting doors, windows, skirting boards, cabinets, and other bespoke fixtures.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and plans to ensure accurate installation and alignment of joinery components.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as plumbers, electricians, and decorators, to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organised work area.
• Proactively identify potential issues or challenges and communicate them to the supervisor or project manager.

Requirements:

• Experience as a joiner.
• Proficient in all aspects of joinery, including fitting doors, windows, skirting boards, and cabinets.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with other tradespeople.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
• Physical fitness and manual dexterity to handle tools and materials.
• Ability to travel where necessary throughout the working week.
• Full UK driving licence with 6 points or less.
