JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team, responsible for a variety of carpentry and joinery tasks on a student accommodation project. You will be working on Fire Doors and Fire Door repairs.. Utilising both hand and power tools to create high-quality wooden structures and fittings. This role requires a strong understanding of construction principles, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople on-site.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in joinery or carpentry is essential. Blue/Gold CSCS
  • Familiarity with fabrication and assembly techniques is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

  • Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, including frameworks, doors, fire doors, windows, and furniture.
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to ensure precision in joinery work.

  • Assist with construction painting to finish surfaces to a high standard.
  • Support masonry work by preparing surfaces and assisting with installations.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to project timelines.
