OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Joiner on a CIS basis to join our team, responsible for a variety of carpentry tasks that require precision and craftsmanship. The ideal candidate will have experience in joinery and be proficient in the use of power tools. This role involves working on various projects, including residential and commercial structures, where attention to detail and adherence to safety standards are paramount.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in joinery or a related field is essential.
• Proficiency in using power tools safely and effectively is required.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and materials.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of the job duties.
• Knowledge of masonry techniques is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• A valid driving licence may be beneficial for travel between sites.

• Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, including frames, doors, and windows.
• Perform joinery tasks with accuracy, ensuring high-quality finishes.
• Utilise power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and joining materials.
• Conduct painting and finishing work as required on completed projects.
• Plumb structures to ensure they are level and correctly aligned.
• Engage in heavy lifting when moving materials or assembling large components.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters and masons, on site.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations.
• Assist in roofing projects when necessary, demonstrating versatility in skills.
