Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Joiner, ideally based in the Midlands, to join our team on a full-time basis. This role will involve travel to sites nationwide, carrying out fire door installations, remedial work, and fire door inspections in line with current legislation and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation and adjustment of fire-rated timber door sets
• Remedial works on existing fire doors in accordance with current standards
• Fire door inspections and compliance reporting
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Communicating effectively with clients and project managers on-site
• Maintaining accurate records of work completed
• Travelling across the UK as required for project delivery

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience working with fire doors (installation, remedial, and/or inspection)
• Own van and full set of professional joinery tools
• Based in the Midlands with willingness to travel nationwide
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and relevant British Standards
• Ability to work independently and maintain high standards of workmanship

Desirable Qualifications

• FIRAS or BM TRADA certification (preferred but not essential)
• CSCS card
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent)
• Fire door inspection qualification or evidence of inspection experience
