JOB SUMMARY:

The Joinery Carpenter is responsible for creating, assembling, and installing custom woodwork and joinery components, including doors, wardrobes, cabinets, wall panels, and furniture. This role demands precision craftsmanship and the ability to read detailed shop drawings and follow design specifications.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2–3 years of experience as a Joinery Carpenter in a workshop or fit-out environment.
• Vocational training or diploma in Carpentry or a related trade is a plus.
• Skilled in using carpentry tools and woodworking machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Physical fitness and manual dexterity for handling heavy materials.
• Basic communication skills Hindi or Urdu preferred.

• Interpret technical drawings and cutting lists for custom joinery projects.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and finish wooden components with high accuracy.
• Build and install furniture, doors, cabinets, partitions, and decorative wooden structures.
• Operate carpentry machines such as panel saws, edge banders, routers, and sanders.
• Perform site installations and adjustments as required.
• Ensure high-quality finishes using hand tools, sanding, and polishing techniques.
• Maintain tools and work areas in good condition.
• Follow all health and safety procedures at the workshop and site.
• Work closely with designers, supervisors, and other trades to ensure project deadlines are met.
