COMPANY OVERVIEW

We are a small kiwi company focused on expanding our team with dedicated professionals. Our mission is to deliver high-quality internal joinery with meticulous attention to detail, using a variety of materials. We collaborate primarily with interior designers on upscale projects such as fitted wardrobes, vanities, and kitchens. Up until now i have done the drawings myself using Sketchup however we have become so busy i am unable to keep up with demand. The role will be freelance with small projects to begin with to make sure we can get communication clear. The position can be a work from home or from our workshop office in Earlsfield, on larger projects it would be beneficial for face to face meetings to discuss details that may be difficult to understand or specialist materials.

SUMMARY

We are seeking a talented CAD draftsman to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in translating design concepts into detailed drawings that meet our high standards of quality and precision. Your work will directly contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional interior solutions.

• Create detailed drawings and plans using CAD software.
• Collaborate with designers to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all drafting work.
• Revise designs based on feedback from team members and clients.
• Maintain organized records of all drafts and revisions.
• Assist in the selection of materials and finishes for projects.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in drafting software.
• Qualifications
• Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit).
• Strong understanding of joinery and construction principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
• Familiarity with materials used in interior design projects is preferred.
• Previous experience as a drafter is necessary
