JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Joinery Draftsman with proven experience in joinery and interior fit-out projects within the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed shop drawings, coordination drawings, and production drawings for joinery and fit-out elements in accordance with project specifications and standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture / Interior Design / Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in joinery drafting within the UAE is required.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting/design software (SketchUp, Revit, etc. is a plus).
• Strong understanding of joinery materials, finishes, hardware, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of UAE building codes and standards related to joinery and interior fit-out.

  Pay: Up to AED5,000.00 per month

Experience:

• UAE: 2 years (Required)

• Prepare detailed shop drawings and as-built drawings for custom joinery works such as doors, wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, reception counters, wall cladding, etc.
• Create production-ready drawings for the factory and coordinate with the production team for accurate execution.
• Interpret architectural and interior design drawings and convert them into technical joinery details.
• Ensure that all drawings meet project specifications, building codes, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and the design team to resolve drawing conflicts and ensure smooth execution.
• Prepare cutting lists, material take-offs (MTOs), and BOQs based on approved drawings.
• Conduct site visits as required to verify dimensions and site conditions.
• Ensure timely delivery of drawings to meet project deadlines.
