• Supervise and coordinate joinery works in the workshop and on-site.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications for joinery and carpentry works.
• Allocate daily tasks to joinery carpenters and monitor execution.
• Ensure quality of workmanship in furniture, doors, wardrobes, cabinets, partitions, and other joinery items.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow.
• Monitor material usage and ensure proper handling, minimizing wastage.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and report progress to management.
• Conduct regular inspections of joinery works to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Guide and train junior staff and workers on joinery techniques and safe work practices.
• Resolve technical issues on-site and provide solutions to challenges in joinery execution.
• Maintain tools, machinery, and equipment in good working condition.
• Enforce safety regulations and ensure workers use PPE at all times.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Diploma / ITI in Carpentry, Civil, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in joinery works, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory / foreman role.
• Strong knowledge of woodworking machinery, materials (MDF, plywood, veneer, laminate, solid wood), and finishes.
• Ability to read and interpret joinery shop drawings and technical details.
• Good leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of health & safety practices at workplace.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
