JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced Joinery Manager to lead and manage all aspects of our joinery and fit-out works. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of bespoke joinery production, fit-out execution, and team management in high-end commercial and residential projects within the UAE. You will oversee planning, coordination, and execution of joinery works to ensure timely delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality finishes.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in joinery and interior fit-out, preferably within the UAE or GCC.
  • In-depth knowledge of woodwork production, site installation, and fit-out detailing.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiar with UAE construction standards, materials, and suppliers.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic/Hindi is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.

    Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month

Responsibilities
  • Project Management & Planning:
  • Oversee joinery and fit-out works from design to installation, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgets.
  • Review project specifications, drawings, and BOQs to ensure feasibility and accuracy.
  • Coordinate closely with project managers, architects, interior designers, and subcontractors.
  • Workshop & Production Oversight:
  • Manage daily operations of the joinery workshop, including carpenters, CNC operators, finishers, and foremen.
  • Ensure efficient use of materials, machinery, and manpower.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures and HSE standards.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Supervise fabrication of custom woodwork, cabinetry, doors, partitions, and decorative elements.
  • Ensure that joinery items are manufactured and installed according to design specifications and standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and resolve on-site issues related to joinery.
  • Team Leadership & Coordination:
  • Train, develop, and supervise workshop and site personnel.
  • Monitor team performance and ensure adherence to company quality standards.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive working environment.
  • Cost & Resource Management:
  • Monitor materials and consumables to reduce waste and control costs.
  • Prepare cost estimates for joinery work and contribute to budgeting for fit-out projects.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication:
  • Act as the point of contact for joinery-related matters with clients and consultants.
  • Attend project meetings and provide updates on progress, risks, and issues.
