We're looking for an experienced professional with great on-air presence and an impressive showreel.   If you’re looking for a fresh challenge, meaningful stories, and a newsroom that’s backing growth this is your moment.    Functions will include:      Pitch, research, and produce original, high-quality news stories for broadcast.  Work under tight deadlines to deliver clear, accurate, and engaging TV news content.  Report live with confidence on breaking news events.  Take the lead on complex news stories, from concept to broadcast, with minimal supervision.  Proactively source and line up stories, ensuring comprehensive and dynamic coverage.  Cover other newsroom roles as required.     What are we looking for in our Newsroom? What’s important?       Strong news judgment and a deep understanding of the TV news landscape. Previous experience - at least 5+ years would be ideal  Exceptional communication skills—both on-air and behind the scenes.  Highly motivated to cultivate contacts, you're not afraid to pick up the phone.  Ability to work under pressure and make quick, accurate editorial decisions.  Proven track record in television news reporting.  In-depth knowledge of local, national, and international current affairs.  Proficiency in non-linear editing systems, with experience in TV news production.  Flexibility to work across different shifts, including weekends, to meet newsroom demands.  Strong grasp of media law and its application in news reporting.     If you’re a highly motivated journalist ready to make an impact, we’d love to hear from you.
