Description About the Position We are seeking a skilled and dependable Journey-Level HVAC Sheet Metal Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will install, fabricate, assemble, maintain, and repair sheet metal components and HVAC systems for commercial and industrial projects. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Fabricate and install sheet metal ductwork, fittings, and HVAC components. Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings. Measure, cut, bend, and assemble sheet metal materials. Install air distribution systems, ventilation equipment, and related components. Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications to existing HVAC systems. Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, safety regulations, and company standards. Coordinate with project managers, foremen, and other trades on job sites. Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area. Qualifications Valid Journey-Level Sheet Metal Worker certification or equivalent experience. Minimum 4–5 years of commercial HVAC sheet metal installation experience. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork fabrication, and installation practices. Strong understanding of workplace safety requirements. Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in various weather and construction site conditions. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. Preferred Qualifications OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification. Experience with BIM or advanced layout tools. Welding and fabrication experience. Experience with retrofit and design-build projects.
