We are hiring an Electrical Engineer in support of Strategic and Trusted Microelectronics.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5 or more years of job-related experience.
  • 3+ years VHDL or Verilog experience necessary
  • 2+ years Python Experience necessary
  • Strong technical writing background
  • Ability to travel, as required.
  • Position will require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance with an Interim Secret Clearance prior to start (Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 + years printed circuit board design strongly preferred
  • Deep knowledge of device physics in semiconductors strongly preferred
  • Deep knowledge of radiation effects in semiconductors strongly preferred
  • 3+ years Developing/Testing microelectronics preferred
  • Knowledge of High-Speed digital design best practices preferred
  • Familiarity of LabVIEW strongly preferred
  • Experience with semiconductor fabrication tools and processes
  • Active Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

The individual will be working to develop tests for memory, FPGAs, CPUs, ASIC or other digital devices within radiation environments. Tasking may include:

  • Writing software to interact with devices
  • Creating post-processing scripts in Python to analyze data, and documenting findings
  • Individuals may be asked to present findings at conferences or share with the radiation effects community depending on customer requirements.
