DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Journeyman Welder or a 2nd/3rd year apprentice welder to join our team on a temporary basis. As a Welder, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, utilizing your expertise and craftsmanship to produce high-quality products. This is an excellent chance to expand your skills and experience, with the possibility of long-term employment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid Journeyman Welder certification or 2nd/3rd year Alberta apprenticeship
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience welding
  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques
  • Must possess good hand skills with FCAW, MCAW and GMAW in all positions
  • Must be able to pass weld test
  • Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Responsibilities
  • Perform various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding
  • Weld in all positions with FCAW, MCAW and GMAW
  • Read and interpret blueprints to execute welding projects
  • Fabricate and assemble by welding components together
  • Maintain and calibrate welding equipment as needed
  • Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
