JOB TITLE: JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN - $42.61/HR.

  • Shift - Morning 6am - 2.30
  • Afternoons - 3pm - 11.30pm - $1 shift premium for afternoons
    Job Description
    We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to perform electrical testing and troubleshooting on HVAC systems.
    The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting and maintaining electrical components, diagnosing and repairing complex problems
    Knowledge of PLC

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical testing and troubleshooting on HVAC systems to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Inspect and maintain electrical components, including motors, control panels, sensors, and wiring.
  • Diagnose and repair complex electrical problems using diagnostic tools, multimeters, and PLC programming.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement energy-efficient HVAC control strategies.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Document maintenance and repair activities accurately for record-keeping purposes.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians in electrical testing procedures and safety protocols.
  • Respond to emergency service calls to address critical electrical issues in a timely manner.

Essential Skills

  • At least 2 years of experience as an HVAC Electrical Technician or a related role.
  • Proficiency in electrical testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of HVAC systems.
  • Knowledge of PLC systems, electrical components, and safety protocols.
  • Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently to identify and resolve electrical issues.
