Job Title: Licensed Journeyman Electrician
Location: Tahlequah, Oklahoma
Pay Rate: $31.00 – $35.00 per hour (Based on experience)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are currently seeking a qualified Licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our team in Tahlequah, OK. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial electrical work, be proficient in pipe bending, and hold an active Oklahoma Journeyman Electrician License.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Active Oklahoma Journeyman Electrician License (Required)
  • Minimum of 5 years of commercial electrical experience
  • Strong proficiency in pipe bending (hand and machine bending)
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and electrical schematics
  • Knowledge of NEC and applicable local electrical codes
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various job site conditions
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Must have reliable transportation and basic hand/power tools
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus

Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
  • Layout and install conduit systems using EMT, RMC, and other raceways
  • Perform wire pulling, terminations, and panel installations
  • Install and troubleshoot lighting, power circuits, and control systems
  • Adhere to National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
  • Inspect and test electrical systems for continuity, safety, and functionality
  • Collaborate with other trades and site supervisors to ensure timely project completion
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
