OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both industrial and commercial electrical work, demonstrating proficiency in various electrical systems and tools. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes, safety protocols, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Journeyperson Electrician will play a crucial role in ensuring that all electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance are performed to the highest standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong background in electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents related to electrical installations.
  • Experience with low voltage wiring and high voltage systems is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations.
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Construction site experience is essential; maintenance person experience is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of electrical work.
