POSITION SUMMARY

Burkhead Electric is searching for a skilled and reliable Journeyman Electrician to take the lead on electrical installations across a wide range of residential, commercial, and industrial projects. In this hands-on position, you’ll bring expertise, efficiency, and attention to detail to every task. You’ll play a pivotal role in mentoring apprentices, upholding safety, and delivering high-quality results that surpass client expectations and industry standards.

• Provide guidance and support to apprentices, promoting responsibility and craftsmanship on all projects
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical systems in compliance with NEC standards
• Take full project ownership, ensuring accuracy and alignment with Burkhead Electric’s quality expectations
• Collaborate closely with coworkers and customers, maintaining excellent communication and service
• Keep vehicles, job sites, and equipment orderly, safe, and clean
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry codes, practices, and innovations
