POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential, and commercial settings. This role requires a thorough understanding of electrical codes, safety practices, and the ability to work independently or as part of a crew.

SKILLS

  • Proven experience as a residential electrician and commercial electrician.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC regulations and safety practices.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings effectively.
  • Experience with frame carpentry is a plus for renovation projects.
  • Familiarity with low voltage systems is desirable.
  • Previous maintenance person experience is beneficial for varied tasks on-site.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current Journeyman Electrician license (state-issued).
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrical apprenticeship program.

  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
  • Ability to work from ladders, scaffolding, and lifts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, and bending.
  • Ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces, heights, and all weather conditions.
