Description

Looking for a Journeyman Electrician with commercial and residential experience to join our team. Potential tasks to be performed:

  • Electrical installation on both residential and commercial projects.
  • Service work on electrical systems in residential and commercial contexts.
  • Low voltage controls work for HVAC, Lighting, Access and Security.
  • Communications wiring.
  • Lead 1 or more projects as the site manager.
  • Discern blueprints and design layouts on site.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues of any nature or be able to contact appropriate technical support.
  • Make sure all appropriate materials are procured as necessary.
  • Planning in advance to be as efficient on the project as possible.
  • Collecting and filling out all paperwork associated with job and submitting to appropriate project manager.
  • Making sure you are completely understanding the scope of work.
  • Assuring proper training is happening for all employees.
  • Assuring all necessary tickets and permits are acquired for work being performed.
  • Report ALL changes and deletions to scope.
  • Perform take-offs and help quote all changes and additions to scope.
  • Will lead projects onsite but accountable to Site Superintendent and/or Project Managers.
  • Will lead several crew members in the field on large projects and other projects.
  • Organize material procurement for responsible projects.
  • Could be site control of larger projects but will also oversee requirements of many other projects.
  • Must be willing, at times, to work overtime or weekends, and to travel for work.
  • Must be capable to offer technical support and code knowledge to other staff.

Pay: $37.00-$45.00 per hour
