OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both industrial and commercial electrical work, demonstrating proficiency in various electrical systems and components. This role requires a hands-on approach to installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in diverse settings, including construction sites and renovation projects.

SKILLS

• Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation effectively.
• Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Knowledge of NEC standards and regulations is essential.

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation and control systems.
• Conduct inspections and testing of electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
• Perform high voltage and low voltage electrical work as needed.
• Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure seamless project execution.
• Engage in renovation projects, applying knowledge of frame carpentry where applicable.
• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
