Transition Electric Company, a family-owned business specializing in residential electrical services, remodels, and new construction, is seeking a reliable, skilled, and trustworthy Residential Service Electrician to join our growing team. You’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our valued customers while enjoying a supportive work environment that values work-life balance and mutual respect. Our technicians typically start their day from home, using a company vehicle to get to and from jobs, with service calls starting around 8:15 AM, Monday through Friday.
We’re looking for an electrician capable of independently handling service calls and installations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 4+ years of residential electrical experience required.
• Journeyman Electrician license preferred, but not required.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools, as well as basic electrical testing equipment.

• Perform residential electrical service calls, remodel work, and new construction installations.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions to customers.
• Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Use company-provided vehicle for travel to and from job sites, starting from home.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth project execution.
• Communicate clearly with customers to explain work performed and answer questions.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and professionalism on all job sites.
• Optional: Participate in estimating and quoting jobs, if experienced.
