We are seeking a skilled HD Mechanic to join our team in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various trucks and equipment. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise and contribute to the success of our company.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repair of heavy trucks and trailers.
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance.
Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repairs to manufacturer’s specifications.
Assist apprentices as needed with maintenance repairs to grow knowledge.
Maintain a clean and tidy personal work area and assist with general cleaning duties in a workshop environment.
Maintain a record of all work tasks on work orders
Support and encourage continuous improvement in work practices.
Adhere to Neway’s HSE policies and procedures.
Some out of hours work may be required for a call out basis.
Perform related work as required.
Completing daily job hazard assessments.
Ability to work overtime and on weekends when necessary; some travel to diagnose and repair equipment in the field will be required.
