About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic or Commercial Transport Mechanic (310T / Red Seal) to join a well-established operation on South Vancouver Island. This is a full-time, year-round role offering steady hours, union wages, and strong benefits.
If you are a certified Heavy Duty Equipment Technician, Commercial Transport Mechanic, or Truck Mechanic , this is an excellent opportunity to apply your skills in a supportive, safety-first environment.
What You’ll Do
Diagnose, repair, and maintain trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment .
Perform preventative maintenance inspections.
Conduct welding and fabrication as required.
Maintain accurate service documentation.
Mentor apprentices and promote a safety culture.
What We’re Looking For
Journeyman Certificate in Heavy Duty Equipment Technician (HDET) or Truck & Transport Mechanic (310T / Commercial Transport) .
Valid BC driver’s licence (Class 3 with Air preferred; clean abstract required).
Welding/fabrication experience an asset.
Physically capable, safety-focused, and reliable.
Able to work independently or as part of a team.
