Job Summary
We are seeking experienced shop and field mechanics to grow our team!
Responsibilities would include troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining a variety of on highway and off road equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting, component rebuild and repair, failure analysis, hydraulics, electrical, diesel engine diagnostics and rebuild/repair. Normal work schedule is Monday to Friday 8-5 and on call every 4th week. Flexible work hours and OT always available
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial heavy equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues to determine the root cause of problems
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and ensure equipment is operating efficiently
- Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed
- Collaborate with other technicians and team members to complete projects in a timely manner
Skills
- Strong knowledge of on highway and off road equipment systems and their components
- Experience operating heavy machinery
- Familiarity with forestry equipment is a plus
- Knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and repair
- Excellent mechanical skills with the ability to diagnose and repair equipment issues
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately, think independently and communicate effectively.
