Title: Journeyman Mechanic
Job Description:
Our independent automotive repair shop is looking for an experienced and skilled journeyman mechanic to join our team. As a journeyman mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs. We are looking for someone who is passionate about their work, highly skilled, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles
Follow standard procedures and guidelines for repair and maintenance
Work efficiently and accurately to meet deadlines
Keep up-to-date with new technology and techniques in the automotive industry
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Communicate effectively with customers and other team members
Qualifications:
Journeyman certification in automotive mechanics
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the automotive repair industry
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Experience with a wide range of vehicles and repair techniques
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and customer service skills
Salary:
The salary for this position will be based on experience. We offer both flat rate and hourly pay options, which can be discussed with the right candidate.
