Description
Skillforce is currently hiring several Pipefitters for work in the Louisville, KY area! This is an upcoming commercial project, working 40+ hours a week across several commercial sites. Pipefitters will be primarily working with stainless steel pipe and medgas experience is a plus! Pay for this role is up to $32/hr depending upon experience.  Pipefitter Responsibilities: * Select and arrange pipes according to blueprints or instructions from supervisors. * Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shapes and sizes. * Test pipe systems for leaks using pressure gauge kits. * Secure pipes to structures with brackets, clamps, and welding equipment. * Modify and maintain pipe systems and components as necessary. * Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, and mechanical engineers to ensure specifications are met. * Adhere to safety policies and regulations to create a risk-free environment. Pipefitter Qualifications: * Proven experience as a pipefitter  * Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Reliable transportation to job sites.
