JOURNEYMAN/FOREMAN PLUMBER

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Journeyman/Foreman Plumber to lead plumbing projects across residential, multi-story, and commercial construction settings. The Foreman Plumber oversees job sites, coordinate teams (including apprentices), and ensure all work meets the highest industry standards. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Journeyman Plumber certification
  • 5+ years of hands-on plumbing experience.
  • Foreman or leadership experience on job sites.
  • Experience with multi-story residential and commercial building projects
  • Knowledge of plumbing and gas codes (residential and commercial)
  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
  • Proficient with both hand and power tools
  • Solid understanding of scheduling, inspections, and construction workflows
  • Working knowledge of HVAC systems an asset

    - Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and participate in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and appliances.
  • Read, interpret, and mark up blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to ensure precise plumbing layouts.
  • Oversee work performed by apprentices and junior plumbers; provide mentorship and on-site training.
  • Perform and review plumbing inspections to ensure compliance with plumbing and gas codes.
  • Maintain accurate records of labor, material use, and project timelines.
  • Collaborate with general contractors, site supervisors, inspectors, and other trades to ensure job coordination and project success.
  • Ensure that safety standards are strictly followed on all job sites.
  • Carry out advanced soldering, troubleshooting, and testing of plumbing systems.

    - Resolve on-site issues and communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
