Description
We are seeking a Journeyman Plumber with knowledge of diagnosing, installing, and providing repairs for plumbing related issues in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This position is full-time. Full-time employees working a minimum of 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday) are eligible for Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance coverage effective after an introductory period. Key Responsibilities * Diagnose plumbing issues independently and make repairs efficiently * Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance * Read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal and water supply systems * Cut, assemble, and install lines with attention to existing infrastructure (i.e.electrical wiring) * Install, maintain, and repair water supply systems * Locate and repair issues with water supply lines (i.e) * Repair or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, etc. * Repair domestic fixtures and appliances (i.e.fauc., leaksets, water heaters) * Install waste disposal and sanitary systems with well-functioning systems  * Handle customer queries and respond to dispatches * Prepare quotes and present to customers directly Qualifications * Journeyman's license * Multi-Family Experience  * Understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings * Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (i.e., pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, etc.) * Required to have your own hand tools * Good communication and interpersonal skills * Strong critical thinking and diagnostic skills  * Friendly with a great deal of patience * Must be able to work with a team * Valid driver’s license * Clean record from the Department of Motor Vehicles Physical Requirements * Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces  * Ability to lift 80lbs plus. Compensation: $25/hour during the first week of training, then transition to commission-based pay afterward.
