Ryfan celebrated it’s 45th birthday in 2024, so we are a seasoned and experienced company. However, as we mature we are ready to take our next step forward. Here’s what that looks like to us:

Our niche is unconventional projects. Cookie-cutter projects aren’t really our market. If a project is weird, innovative, logistically complicated, remote, or any of those, it’s probably right in our niche.

YOUR SQUAD
Our projects are located across Canada, often in remote regions of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut. Depending on the project requirements and phase of work, your squad may be just you and a Journeyman/Apprentice or crews in the range of 12 people. We are an MEP sub-contractor (mechanical, plumbing and electrical) so your squad may be a mix of trades. Your squad will change with each project based on each person’s skill set and the requirements of the project.
All Ryfaners are expected to be “extra hands” to our colleagues. Our teams often travel to remote and isolated locations, so we send the fewest number of people to effectively complete the work. “Not in my job description” is a foreign concept at Ryfan.

Developing a skilled trade is an entrepreneurial opportunity. Some of our Apprentices and Journeymen will choose to go on to run their own businesses, on to other companies, and or to stay with Ryfan.
