Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking an experienced and licensed Journeyperson Plumber to support site operations and coordinate small teams on construction projects. In this role, you will execute work safely and efficiently, provide guidance to apprentices and other journeypersons when the Site Supervisor is absent, and ensure projects are completed to the highest standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a Red Seal-certified professional who enjoys hands-on work, site coordination, and mentoring junior team members.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute plumbing and mechanical work, including pipe fitting, cutting, coring, trenching, measuring, layout, and installation
  • Support project needs as directed by the Site Supervisor, ensuring safe and professional execution
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop apprentices or small teams of journeypersons when required
  • Prepare and provide clear instructions, sketches, and guidance to less experienced team members
  • Conduct site assessments, identify unsafe conditions, and proactively address issues
  • Complete administrative and project documentation accurately and on time
  • Coordinate site activities in the absence of the Site Supervisor
  • Communicate and coordinate with clients, other trades, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution
  • Responsible for reading IFC drawings
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and departmental growth
