Job Details Job Location: Portland Press Herald - South Portland, ME 04106 Be part of the future of local news in Maine as we print our own newspapers and expand our printing business. The Maine Trust for Local news is seeking a Journeyman Pressman to work nights in our growing press operations in South Portland, Maine. Essential Job Functions: Responsible for all areas of the Pressroom and Platemaking operations including: Prepping rolls of paper Setting rollers in the press Standard maintenance of press equipment All functions to work on the press, folders and press controls Ensures printed products meet all quality standards Completes prioritized work to meet deadlines Maine Trust for Local News is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. We are an equal opportunity employer. Qualifications Our Ideal Candidate has: Previous Offset Printing experience. Goss Urbanite or DGM 850 experience is preferred. Previous experience on Jaw and Rotary folder preferred Attention to detail Ability to work nights, including Saturday nights. Working safely and understands safety procedures, including LOTO and Hazard Communication

Responsibilities
