JOB SUMMARY

We are small family ran automotive shop seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and be proficient in automotive repair, with the ability to work effectively with both hand and power tools. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the capability to handle various tasks related to vehicle maintenance and repair.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various automotive systems.
• Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks associated with vehicle repair.
• Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on building positive relationships with clients.
• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• A valid driver’s license is required; additional certifications in automotive repair are advantageous.

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicles, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently.
• Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as necessary for repairs.
• Conduct routine inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle’s condition and repair needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining quality standards.
• Perform heavy lifting as required during the repair process, ensuring proper techniques are used for safety.
