Duties include maintenance, repairs, and diagnosis of trucks, trailers, and forklifts including hydraulic and electrical systems. As well, as knowledge and involvement in disassembling and re-assembling all components of heavy equipment.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Red Seal Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic Certification
• Class 5 Driver’s License
• Welding experience will be considered and asset
• Basic computer skills
• A strong command of the English language ( written and verbal)
• Experience in the Disposal Industry will be considered and asset
• In this Role responsibilities include:
• Support company policies and procedures regarding, health and safety, and scheduled maintenance programs.
• Diagnosing various equipment for malfunctions and faults
• Cleaning, lubricating and maintaining equipment
• Interpreting work orders and manuals
• Writing service reports.
• Ensure all work performed meets manufacturers’ specifications and legislated regulations.
