CSEngineering is looking to add a Journeyman/Senior Software Systems Architect to our growing team to support the US Space Force, Space Systems Command!

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Security Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI (program access eligibility)

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, mathematics, physics, or equivalent technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience working on a large software system architecture.
  • 3+ years of experience in systems engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience in test engineering.
  • Experience with conducting or supporting space system Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs), Critical Design Reviews (CDRs), Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), and System Verification Reviews (SVRs).
  • Experience communicating technical concepts to users, leaders, and engineers.
  • Knowledge of designing, performing, and managing automated software testing.
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps and agile software development.
  • Highly motivated and dynamic work ethic with a strong desire to contribute to the DoD mission.
  • Ability to construct systems-engineering deliverables independently with data from various sources.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Responsibilities
  • Develop relationships quickly and easily with other teams and system owners, communicating the complexities of security with a wide variety of audiences, including senior management.
  • Create and communicate software system architecture documentation to meet feature requirements.
  • Guide the program development from prototype through operational fielding with government program management.
