JOB DESCRIPTION


We are seeking a skilled journeyman welder to engage in production welding for data cooling center skids. This role involves working on three different projects where welding techniques will vary slightly, focusing primarily on FCAW and GMAW welding of light gauge steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. Assistance with fitting will be available, although self-reliance in this area is advantageous.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Proficiency in FCAW and GMAW welding techniques.
• Capability in skid welding.
• Blueprint reading skills.
• Experience as a journeyman welder.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Fitting experience is desirable.
• Experience with shears and press brakes is an asset.
• Ability to perform flux core and MIG welding.

• Perform FCAW and GMAW welding on light gauge steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
• Engage in skid welding across multiple projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints to guide welding tasks.
• Operate in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with the ability to multi-task.
• Lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Be open to working overtime on weekdays and/or weekends as required.
• Utilize shears and press brakes, if experienced.
