About the Role We’re looking for a skilled Journeyman Welder to join our production team and help bring our high-quality products to life. If you're experienced in MIG and wire welding, can read blueprints with ease, and are passionate about craftsmanship and safety, we want to hear from you! This role goes beyond the torch, you'll mentor others, troubleshoot problems on the floor, and take pride in producing precise, strong, and clean welds that meet our industry-leading standards. What You'll Do Weld and fabricate components using MIG and wire processes Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Operate welding and cutting tools (GMAW, hand plasma, oxyacetylene) Inspect your work and maintain high quality and safety standards Suggest improvements and support team performance Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace Act as a role model for safety and production best practices What You Bring Alberta Journeyman Welder certification Minimum 2 years' welding experience (production facility experience is a bonus!) Strong mechanical skills and blueprint reading ability Knowledge of safety protocols, PPE, and lockout/tagout procedures Positive, team-focused attitude and natural leadership qualities Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs, crouch, climb, and stand for long periods Able to pass a drug/alcohol test, mask fit, audiometric, and functional fitness tests Working Environment Exposure to heat, noise, fumes, and moving equipment Use of respiratory protection (must be clean-shaven) Fast-paced, safety-first shop environment Overtime may be required Why Work With Us?
