We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. Grounded Contracting is wanting the individual to have a strong background in residential electrical systems and maintenance work. The role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including both residential electrical installations and ongoing maintenance for high-demand properties.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as an industrial electrician or in a similar role within the construction field
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, low voltage applications, and renovation processes
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and other relevant equipment safely
• Maintenance Person experience is a plus; ability to perform general maintenance tasks is beneficial
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Interpret and work from blueprints and schematics to complete electrical installations and repairs
• Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks
• Work on low voltage systems as required, ensuring compliance with safety regulations
• Collaborate with team members on renovation projects, providing expertise in electrical applications
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols
• Assist in the training of apprentices or less experienced workers as needed
