JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical work, including the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and will be proficient in both low voltage and high voltage systems. This role involves working on various projects, including construction, renovation, and maintenance tasks, ensuring that all electrical installations are completed safely and efficiently.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as an industrial electrician or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, including low voltage applications.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics related to electrical installations.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment used in electrical work.
• Experience in construction and renovation projects is highly desirable.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Interpret and analyze blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete electrical tasks.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
• Work collaboratively with other tradespeople on construction and renovation projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing all duties.
• Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks as needed.
• Provide maintenance person services as required for various projects.
