At Allied Projects, we are seeking service technicians who are not only skilled in electrical and life safety systems but are also open to extensive travel. In this role, you will service clients across various locations, including remote and government facilities, where security clearances are required. You will primarily focus on life safety system inspections and repairs, while managing diverse client needs and adapting quickly to changing priorities.

  • Fire Alarm System Inspections and Repairs: Perform inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs on fire alarm and life safety systems at various client sites, including those in remote locations.
  • Customer Service: Build strong relationships with clients, providing clear communication and maintaining professionalism while working in occupied facilities.
  • Travel: Frequent travel to multiple job sites within and outside the Calgary area, often including overnight stays.
  • Team Leadership: Lead or assist in managing small teams, as needed, while adhering to project timelines and safety protocols.
  • Technical Expertise: Interpret blueprints and electrical drawings, ensuring compliance with all codes and standards.
  • Problem-Solving: Efficiently troubleshoot and resolve issues with life safety and electrical systems in commercial and government settings
