REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

ABOUT THE ROLE
As our Service Technician, you will work in our service facility and occasionally in the field, applying your technical expertise to solve complex problems and implementing preventative maintenance strategies. Our Service Technicians work on all aspects of Hydrovac trucks, the engine, the chassis and the hyrdovac system. This skilled team takes pride in providing rapid, effective solutions and minimizing costly downtime.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Maintenance and repairs to Hydrovac trucks.
· Keen sense of safety and compliance with all safety processes and procedures
· Read manufacturer’s drawings and manuals
· Use computer diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and repair
· Complete all necessary paperwork and enter time into job tracking software
· Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts
· All communication with customers
· Ability to diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair
· Evaluate operation of completed unit
· Install heavy components such as PTO’s and pumps
· Install components in truck cabs and on truck bodies
· Install and test hydraulic systems
· Maintain a safe and clean work environment
· Complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
· Strong focus on shop cleanliness and organization
· Mentor and advise new or inexperienced team members
