Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Journeyperson Automotive Technician to join our growing team. As a Automotive Technician, you will play a key role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of vehicles, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of performance and safety. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all brands of vehicles.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues using specialized tools and equipment.
  • Inspect and test vehicles to ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with service advisors and customers to provide accurate estimates and explain repairs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and manufacturer updates.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work environment and ensure proper documentation of work performed.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, fuel, and mechanical systems of automotive vehicles.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a automotive technician considered an asset
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, fuel systems, and engine mechanics.
  • Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Certification in automotive mechanics or related field
  • A passion for automotive and a desire to continue learning and improving your skills.
