Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Carpenter will be responsible for working safely in all areas on the mill site. They will be a key player in company-wide continuous improvement efforts. You'll Do: * Scaffolding * Building repairs and maintenance * Building and repairing cabinets * Office renovations * Office furniture assembly * Forming and concrete work * Equipment base grouting You have: * A valid Red Seal Carpenter certification * Masonry and Scaffolding experience * Heavy industry experience * Commitment to working safely and creating a safe work place * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Able to work independently as well as part of a team * A valid Class 5 Drivers License Compensation Package: * The hourly pay rate for this position will follow the collective agreement between Unifor 1115 and Cariboo Pulp Ltd., which is currently $48.66/hour. * Outstanding benefits package including medical, dental, pension, life insurance, disability, accident insurance, vacation, and holidays.
