We are a small company seeking a motivated Journeyperson Electrician with industrial and construction experience. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems for various projects, including distribution, lighting, fire alarm, motor control, communication wiring, and maintenance in commercial/industrial settings. We are seeking a Red Seal Electrician, others need not apply
Key responsibilities:
· Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
· Install, investigate, and repair wiring, fixtures, and equipment
· Use hand and power tools efficiently
· Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues quickly
· Work with low voltage systems including fire alarm
· Collaborate with other trades on renovations
· Self-motivated and reliable
· Follow all safety regulations
Candidates should be skilled, reliable, and safety focused.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on commercial/industrial settings preferred.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
• Experience in fire alarm installations.
• Experience in construction or renovation projects is highly desirable.
• Safe driving record is required
• Good attitude, capable of working with a team
• Must possess relevant certifications (red seal) or licenses as required by local regulations
